Soluna Ray is a Brazilian-born, Belgium-based DJ and producer known for her hypnotic blend of dark, elevated techno. With a background in acting, she brings a cinematic, magnetic presence that transforms dance floors into immersive, trance-driven experiences.
Her sound balances raw power with emotional depth, moving between shadow and light. Active in Belgium’s underground scene, she is recognized for her unique aesthetic combining solar and dark energies.
Scope
Her musical journey reflects a long search for style, ultimately shaped by the concept of sun versus moon, evolving through contrasts like yin and yang, red and black, and gold and silver before settling on a clear black-and-white aesthetic.
Known for radiating light in her performances, this energy is also reflected in her visual identity, resulting in a strong and recognizable name and style. The element symbolizes the sol (sun), luna (moon) and rays, but also a (third) eye or a (music) explosion are noticeable.
As a talented DJ, she has built a distinctive sound and identity, including even some of our own Visuals Net tracks from HCC NET and UB NET in her sets.
Alongside her preference for techno, she is also exploring new directions in her EP Techno Brasilis, where she blends European techno with Brazilian influences, transforming it into a softer, more house-oriented sound.
